Listening to Dag Nasty right now. So, it’s not a big surprise we’re fans of DC bands and their sound. An upcoming documentary tells this story.

Salad Days: The Birth of Punk In The Nation’s Capital is a documentary that examines Washington, D.C.’s 1980s hardcore punk scene. The film is centred on a movement that spawned a laundry list of influential bands including Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Rites of Spring and Fugazi as well as seminal labels such as Dischord and Teen Beat.
