Hype Williams was the biggest hype (sic!) in the last two years. Totally eligable in my opinion. Their washy electronic lo-fi dub mix infected everyone. Well, Hype Williams is history, but both members released solo records under their own name. I told you about Dean Blunt’s fabulous album The Redeemer already. Inga Copeland, the other half released a couple of mixtapes and tracks digitally and on vinyl, but to be honest her last EP Don’t Look Back, That’s Not Where You’re Going was kinda disappointing. Something was missing. Today I heard a brand new song called Fit by her and I have to say Yes!, clapping percussions and super-soft buried vocals. Awesome, I hope there is a complete record coming out like this. Listen below.

And speaking of Dean Blunt again. He just released Stone Island, a 10 track digital mini-album via the Russian website Афиша. It’s good stuff and for free. Get it here!
