Everyone I know fell in love 2009 with Julian Lynch’s debut record Orange You Glad, a superb psychedelic weird indie folk record. It was everywhere. On every party, during brunchs, on my mp3-player or in our store. The following Mare was spotted by Pitchfork, so add a couple of bearded guys to the listener crowd. And when his last record Terra was released two years ago it didn’t get as much attention as you might guess. Too bad. But now, a new year, a new record, a new chance. Lines is coming out in late March via Underwater Peoples and you can listen to two new tracks by our favorite¬†Anthropology and Ethnomusicology PhD student.
