As a Sonic Youth fanboy galore I should be craving for every solo release since they call it quit last year. Well, Thurston’s Demolished Thoughts was a super duper album and now it’s time for Lee Ranaldo’s first rock album (sticker on the cover). After the first run I’m not really pleased, but I think (and hope) it’s a grower. Hello, there is Jim O’Rourke, Steve Shelley, Nels Cline and Sonic Youth’ first drummer Bob Bert on it. It has to be good. Watch the clip to Angles below taken from Between The Times And The Tides.
