One of our customers bought the last Luke Roberts LP Big Bells And Dime Songs just because of the cover artwork. It reminded him of his hometown. One reason to buy a record. Another more common reason is the musical quality and I think it works better for Luke Roberts. His new record The Iron Gates At Throop And Newport is like the old one a little treasure of raw folky, almost countryesque songs. It’s out now on Thrill Jockey and will be your spring soundtrack. Am I right?
