After a couple of warm-up shows it’s getting serious for this year’s Doom Over Leipzig festival. In 3 weeks you have the honor to see the creme de la creme of Doom, Experimental, Ambient and Psychedelic. It starts Wednesday (28 Mar) with the screening of documentary Blood, Sweat & Vinyl: DIY in the 21st century. The trailer looks rad. Live features from Neurosis, Isis, Pelican to name only a few.

The actual festival starts on Thursday (29 Mar) with a big bang, Earth, Mount Eerie and Ô Paon. The new Earth record is awesome, you probably know this already and we’re curious about Mount Eerie’s set. Will it be a Black Metal set or more of his folk drone songs? We’ll see. Friday (30 Mar) is a mixed up day. Some acoustic folk tunes from Wino & Conny Ochs. Followed by Italian Black Metal band Gottesmorder. No time for breathing because psychedelic rockers from White Hills and post-post band Downfall Of Gaia are giving you the rest. No time for sleeping, Saturday (31 Mar) is getting louder and louder. O, Planks, Celeste and Scraps Of Tape. You know what’s to expect. The whole festival is located at UT Connewitz, the perfect place this matter. Read more about the bands, program and the festival in general on their webside. Ah and don’t forget we have day-tickets and festival-tickets at the store.
